Brett Kavanaugh was publicly accused of attempted rape by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford. The incident occurred when Kavanaugh was a student at Georgetown Prep and Ford was attending a high school nearby.
The party and incident in question has been described in great detail, but Kavanaugh claims he doesn’t even remember attending this party.
Now, Senator Elizabeth Warren has released a video she found from 2015 during which Kavanaugh told a group “Fortunately we’ve had a good saying that we’ve held firm to, to this day, as the Dean was reminding me before the talk, which is what happens at Georgetown Prep, stays at Georgetown Prep.”
The crowd responded with nervous laughter. Needless to say, the video has gone viral on social media and has been viewed by millions of people, considering the fact that Elizabeth Warren is hardly the first to share it.
It’s one thing to hear adults joke about unethical shenanigans going down in Vegas and staying in Vegas, but it’s a bit unsettling to hear a grown man say that about his high school years. This is from a federal judge, who’s been nominated for the Supreme Court.
He thinks it’s funny that people do things they’re not proud of. This is the man being accused of inappropriate behavior. If anyone thinks there’s no way he did this, they may be second guessing it at this point.
