Thousands of protestors flood streets blocking Trump’s motorcade, Forced to turn around


On Tuesday, while the city of Pittsburgh continued mourning the lives lost in Saturday’s synagogue massacre, President Donald Trump decided to travel to the Steel City to pay his respects despite its political and religious leaders’ wishes.

As a result, protesters were prepared for his visit and gathered in strong opposition of it.

So strong, in fact, that CNN correspondent Miguel Marquez said during the network’s Jake Tapper Tuesday show that he was shocked at how “how big” and “how quickly” the protest grew. You can view the video below.

Also, according to Marquez’ account, there wasn’t just one protest taking place. The one he was at was about a block away from the Tree of Life synagogue, and according to Marquez, seemed to be more of an impromptu protest.

According to CNN, police had tried to clear path for Trump’s motorcade. But Marquez later said the president had “moved off in another direction.”

We can only expect these protests to grow stronger over the coming weeks.
