White House caught in massive lie about Jim Acosta…and there’s video to prove it

CNN’s Jim Acosta was in a heated exchange with President Donald Trump at Trump’s defensive and tense press conference on Wednesday, following the Midterm elections that saw Democrats gain control of the House of Representatives. In the aftermath, Acosta has lost his clearance to attend White House press meetings and has even been accused of assault by Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who claims that Acosta put his hands on a young White House aide who tried to forcefully take a microphone away from him.

Except, anybody that’s seen the video knows that Sanders is lying.

Raw Story documented the lie, frame by frame, showing each time Acosta was touched by the White House staffer.

First, the staffer reached over Acosta’s arm, touching him as she grabbed for the microphone, which was followed by a second attempt for the microphone, reaching over the top of Acosta’s arm where she made contact with him.

She went on to make contact with Acosta for a third and fourth time, which you can clearly see in the video below.

The exchange happened after Trump cut off Acosta’s questions about immigration, calling him a “rude, terrible person,” and again, “an enemy of the people”.

Later that evening, Acosta tweeted that he was indeed being denied entrance to the White House:

I’ve just been denied entrance to the WH,” Acosta tweeted.

“Secret Service just informed me I cannot enter the WH grounds for my 8pm hit.”
Acosta posted a video of a Secret Service officer removing his pass.
“I was just told to do it,” the officer said on the recording.
“I am now giving my hard pass to the Secret Service,” Acosta said.
